He That Hath A Full Purse Never Wanted A Friend.

Money is always a great attraction. People flock to him who is wealthy, claiming themselves to be his friends. But their real aim is to share his wealth and comforts. But their real aim is to share his wealth and comforts. For that they will obey him and show great love. They might even say that they are ready to risk their lives for him. All this lasts only as long as the man is wealth, once his money is gone, the so-called friends will desert him. Soon he will be a poor lonely man with nobody to help him. If he approaches his former friends for help, they will avoid him. To them he will become a complete stranger. This is one of those great tricks that money performs. Even blood relationship to a certain extent depends on wealth and fame. A person who is wealthy and famous will always be the apple of the eye for his close relative. They will most willingly and proudly claim to be his relation. At the same time, if he happens to be a failure in life even his own brothers and sisters may disown him. Thus the proverb is true in the sense that a person who has his purse full is never short of friends.
